Rosebank Primary School

"We are all friends and together we succeed"

Safeguarding Policy Statement

At Rosebank, we value parents’ views and understand the importance of working in partnership with parents, to ensure that the needs of all our children are met. We also have an open door policy, so you can talk to a member of staff about your worries or concerns.

Rosebank Primary is fully committed to safeguarding the children in our care. We do this in a variety of ways through policies, procedures and actions.  School policies are in place to ensure that there is a consistent approach to practices throughout school and that they are adhered to by staff, governors and volunteers.

The health and safety of all children is of paramount importance. Parents send their children to school each day with the expectation that school provides a secure environment in which their children can flourish. We therefore have a duty to ensure that this expectation becomes reality.

  • Must stay safe
  • Must be healthy
  • Must be able to enjoy and achieve
  • Must be able to achieve economic well-being
  • Must be able to make a positive contribution

If you have any concerns to do with safeguarding, you can talk to a member of staff or one of our Safeguarding & Child Protection Team.
