World Space Week 2019!

To celebrate World Space Week (4th - 10th October), the children at Rosebank took part in a variety of fun, space-themed investigations, including:

KS1 - Read Alien Love Underpants and then investigated who had the 'pingiest' underpants!

LKS2 - Learnt about the dangers of UV light and investigated the most suitable materials for an astronaut's space suit!

UKS2 - Learnt about craters on the moon and investigated whether different sized asteroids would create different sized craters!

Science Week 2019

WOW! What an amazing week filled with Rocket Mice, explosive investigations and the eagerly awaited Science fair!

I would like to say a huge thank you to all parents who supported their children in the Science T-Shirt competition - I was astounded by the amazing entries (over 100 of them!) and choosing the winners was an extremely difficult task for me!
